Grand River Water Festival

The Green Party of West Michigan will have a table set up at this festival.  We will be informing our neighbors of the Green Party and signing up new members.  If you are in the area and able to help with this event, contact Mamie Graziano for a volunteer schedule.

The Eighth Grand River Water Festival is taking place on Saturday, June 24, at Riverside Park, from 12 PM - 10 PM.
This not-to-be-missed FREE event features some of Michigan's finest folk, bluegrass, blues, klezmer, and roots music, featuring headliner Grammy-award winner Peter Madcat Ruth. In-between bands are short informational presentations on environmental issues. Connect with an environmental agency that engages you, buy healthy local food from vendors, shop at vendor booths featuring earth-friendly goods, do yoga in the trees (mats provided), enjoy an artisan beer in the beer tent, and come together as a community to listen to fantastic music and celebrate water.

The Grand River Water Festival is located at 2001 Monroe Ave. NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49505, near Boat Launch 2, on the banks of the Grand River. Carpool, walk, bike or kayak to the festival!
